A big thank you to the volunteer team we are lucky to have at the club.
The summer tournament was an amazing weekend at the club, and was only made possible by the time and support that so many of you gave. It was great to see youth players, siblings, friends of players, adult players, managers, coaches, parents, grandparents and members of the wider community all coming together, to host a great weekend of football for youth players.
Over the summer we have had people helping with lots of different things. Thank you to all of you who helped across the club. Here are a just a few of the things:
- Getting the pitches ready for the season ahead
- Cleaning the goals
- Replacing nets on goals
- Getting the kitchen and bar stocked and ready for the start of the season
- Coordinating and ordering new kits for teams
- Ordering the new equipment for the season ahead
- 3G launch event
A HUGE thank you needs to go to our Youth Secretary (Becky Bates) and Assistant Secretary (Faye Connelly) for registering over 350 youth players ready for the start of the season. And our Club Secretary (Louise Riseborough) for all of the adult registrations. Getting so many players match ready in time for the first game of the season is a mammoth task and we couldn’t have achieved it without the cooperation of our managers, coaches and parents.
